The End

“Everything has to come to an end, sometime.”

― L. Frank Baum, The Marvelous Land of Oz

“It’s much easier to not know things sometimes. Things change and friends leave. And life doesn’t stop for anybody.”

― Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower

“There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story.”

― Frank Herbert

“It is always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn’t matter what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over.”

― Paulo Coelho, The Zahir

“Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don’t really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren’t really an ending; some things are never-ending.”

― C. JoyBell C.

“There’s a trick to the ‘graceful exit.’ It begins with the vision to recognize when a job, a life stage, or a relationship is over — and let it go. It means leaving what’s over without denying its validity or its past importance to our lives. It involves a sense of future, a belief that every exit line is an entry, that we are moving up, rather than out.”

― Ellen Goodman

“The most important thing is this: to sacrifice what you are now for what you can become tomorrow.”

― Shannon L. Alder

“Nothing really ends. We try to create many definitions of an ending for a certain thing only to allow us a moment of break.

As a brush put on a canvas of one’s life, a person has a full control over his own life. The real ending is the moment when the brush stops its painting. However, the brush cannot see the real ending, which will happen only after the death of the brush.” by R_the_Alien (PapilionemK)
