A body is a biological machine that gets old with time.

The functionality of a body, however, does not always correspond with the biological aging of the body, as some functions that had not been fully developed at a younger age may progress to a higher level with consistent training.

I could not do any acrobatic movements before living several decades of my life, as I was not given a chance of learning or practicing those skills. I was almost kept indoor and I felt comfortable living without sport activities.

After leaving the nest of parents, I started learning social dances, from which I discovered my potential talent in dancing. I can express something that cannot be described in texts. Although my current movements are quite rough and do not have a natural flow, which is the effect of the oppressive restrictions imposed by suffocating Korean society on my mentality, I believe that I can achieve significant progress in terms of smoothness, continuity, and clarity.

Of course, at a certain point, the progress of body functionality will be hampered by the irresistible speed of the aging process.

Nevertheless, I can be optimistic until that day comes, and this is the first documentation of my dance journey.
